Benjamin Goodman

Benjamin Goodman is interested in all things sound. He specializes in mixing and live event production, bringing an original perspective to every project he works on.

He is experienced as a live sound engineer, promoter, venue booker, band manager, and tour organizer. Working with event-planning organization The Shed from 2023 to 2026, he has organized and put on over fifty live events, from electronic raves to 14-hour-long band festivals. He has worked with a variety of touring artists, including Wednesday, Frost Children, and Laundry Day.

In the studio, Benjamin is a recording engineer, producer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer. He has been involved in the production of more than 100 songs, comprising 10 EPs and 7 full-length albums by 18 artists. His work has been featured by Pitchfork Selects, KCSN 88.5, and Spotify’s Fresh Finds Folk editorial playlist.

Benjamin is a multi-instrumentalist; he is proficient in drums, electric bass, guitar, and percussion. He has written/performed on 83 songs, which have been streamed a total of 100K+ times on Spotify alone. He has served as music director, band leader, sound designer, session musician, pit musician, and film composer. He has drummed on two national tours and opened for major artists including Swae Lee, Malcolm Todd, and Marcy Playground.

In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys baking chocolate chip cookies and watching The Lord of the Rings.
